Dean Robert L. Williams proposed programs such as the Institutes on Teachers' Rights, Conference on Poverty and Law, Student Assistants to the Public Defender, Poor Laws Center, and Technical Assistance to Small Businesses. In spite of the efforts of many, the last class graduated from the FAMU College of Law in 1968.
