This edition of the Florida A&M University Law Review is entitled Social Justice, Development & Equality: Comparative Perspectives on Modern Praxis. We are especially proud of this edition as it marks the progression of our journal towards a central thematic approach in the selection of articles, lectures, essays, and notes. Collectively, the selections included in this edition share an interrelated cohesiveness that delivers to our readership intriguing expositions with a critical eye toward contemporary legal theories and practices. In addition, we elected to take an interdisciplinary approach to the presentation of perspectives as each selection examines issues on local, national, and international levels.
